Credit Card Conversion FAQs

Beginning the week of October 30, we will be changing credit card providers to
TCM Bank.  Below are answers to some quesitons that you may have regarding this change.  We are confident you will enjoy the features and benefits of your new credit card! As always, if you have any questions, please contact us for more information.

 

Q: Why did Bluff View Bank bank partner with TCM Bank, N.A.?

A: Bluff View Bank is always working to find the best ways to help you manage your money. To provide the best credit card services to you, we have decided to partner with TCM Bank.

 

Q: Who is TCM Bank?

A: TCM Bank has been providing credit card services to community banks and credit unions for 25 years. TCM Bank offers exceptional customer service through an in-house Customer Contact Center and are dedicated to providing you with personal service, the kind you receive when you walk into our branches.

 

Q: Will I get a new credit card? Will the number change?

A: Yes, you will receive a new credit card the week of October 30th. The card number will be different from your old credit card.

 

Q: When can I expect to receive my new credit card?

A: Your card should arrive the week of October 30th.

 

Q: When can I activate my new credit card?

A: You can activate and start using your card on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 8:00 AM EST. To activate your card, please call the automated activation number provided with your new card.

 

Q: When will my old credit card stop working/deactivate?

A: Your old card will automatically stop working on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 8:59 AM CST. If you are traveling during this time, make sure to bring both cards with you so you will have no lapse in card usage.

 

Q: Will my card balance transfer to the new card?
A: Yes, your credit card balances will transfer over to the new credit card.

 

Q: Will my payment address change?
A: Yes, your payment address will be TCM BANK, N.A., PO BOX 6818, CAROL STREAM, IL 60197-6818. You can also make payments and set up automatic payments at MyCardStatement.com after Sunday, November 5, 2023.

 

Q: Will my autopay for my card statement transfer with the new card?

A: If the autopay is set through MyCardStatement.com, it will transfer to the new card. If the autopay is currently set through a third party or the bank’s BillPay service, it will not transfer to the new card.

 

Q: Will I be able to view my past transaction history?
A: Yes, 12 months of history will be available online.

 

Q: What will happen to my recurring charges?
A: If you have any recurring charges, you will need to update your account number after you activate your new credit card on Sunday, November 5, 2023.

 

Q: Who do I contact for account information?

A: For now, you will continue to contact your conversion specialist or POC. After Sunday, November 5, 2023, you can contact customer service at 1-800-883-0131 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This number is also located on the back of your new card.

 

Q: What is the customer service phone number and hours?

A: TCM Bank Customer Service is here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The phone number is 1-800-883-0131. Representatives are located in the U.S. and are dedicated to providing you with personal service.

 

Q: How do I set up mobile payments?
A: To use Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay, simply locate the Wallet app pre-installed on your device. Follow the instructions for scanning fingerprints, entering a PIN, and adding your new credit card. You will be able to set up mobile payments after your new card is activated, after Sunday, November 5, 2023.

 

Q: Will my rate change?

A: BUSINESS:  Yes, your rates will change at the time of the conversion; however, they will be closely aligned with your current rates. The disclosures will be/are included with the joint notification letter that will be sent out in October 2023.

CONSUMER: Not at this time; however, consumer accounts will be aligned to TCM Bank terms during TCM Bank’s standard change in terms process in the Spring of 2024.

 

Q: Can I manage my account online?

A: If you are currently enrolled in EZ Card or MyCardStatement, effective Sunday, November 5, 2023, you may log in to MyCardStatement.com (same credentials) where you can make payments, set up auto pay, view account summary information, view past and current statements (12 months), download data to financial software, view transaction and spending reports, go paperless with e-Statements, set up email and mobile account alerts, dispute charges and more.  If you are not enrolled already, then you may register your card at MyCardStatement.com.

 

Q: Is there a mobile app for managing my account?

A: You can manage your personal credit card account with MyCard Mobile. With MyCard Mobile, you can make a payment, check your balance and transaction history, receive account alerts and more. To use MyCard Mobile, it’s best to enroll in MyCardStatement.com first (your account management website). Once you download MyCard Mobile from the App Store (Apple devices) or Google Play (Android devices), create your log-in using the same email address used for your MyCardStatement account. Once enrolled, you can add your credit card and you’re all set!
